Vegan Baking Class - new for 2020!

We've had a lot of requests for a basic introductory class on vegan baking so here it is!

Wondering how to make a light sponge cake without eggs? Struggling to get a dairy free cream cheese frosting that holds? And has anyone mentioned the animal products lurking in sprinkles, alcohol and fruit?!

This is a three hour class in which you'll learn how to

 - bake, stack and frost an 8 inch chocolate cake

 - make a dairy free chocolate frosting

 - bake a dozen red velvet cupcakes

 - make a dairy free cream cheese frosting 

 - learn how to colour frosting and pipe onto a cupcake

Everything used to make the cake is vegan and the class will address the specific challenges of dairy-free, egg-free vegan baking. Recipes and notes will be provided and you will also take home a large chocolate cake and a box of 12 cupcakes that you've baked and decorated yourself. If you would like to bake using gluten-free flour instead,  just let us know and this can be provided but please be advised that wheat flour is present in the kitchen. 

Everything needed for the class will be provided. The cost of the class is £60 per person. Class size is up to 3 people. Sorry, this class is not suitable for under-16s. To book a place please get in touch.
