Vegan Baking: Let's Get Fruity

The vegan baking classes are very popular and this new class will focus on baking with fruit. It's been designed to show lots of different ways of replacing eggs in baking using flaxseed, fruit puree, cornstarch, aqua faba and the crazy cake method. It covers dairy free frosting and cream cheese frosting, how to swap out wheat for a gluten free cake and how to decorate so your baking not only tastes but also looks amazing.

In this class you'll learn how to:

 - bake, stack and frost a mango cake

 - bake a gluten free spiced apple cake

 - make a dairy free cream cheese frosting

 - bake and decorate a lemon and blueberry bundt

 - make and decorate orange spice cookies

Everything used in the kitchen is vegan and the class will address the specific challenges of dairy-free, egg-free vegan baking. Recipes and notes will be provided and you will also take home two six inch cakes, a bundt cake and cookies that you've baked and decorated yourself.

Allergens: Please note that this class uses hazelnuts in one recipe - these can be omitted from the recipe but they are present in the kitchen. We will also be using soya milk, but this can be substituted for another plant milk. We will also be using wheat. Please discuss any allergies ahead of booking the class.

Everything needed for the class will be provided. The cost of the class is £110 per person. Class size is up to 2 people. Sorry, this class is not suitable for under-16s. To book a place please get in touch.
