Vegan Baking Class - Beginners

Wondering how to make a light sponge cake without eggs? Struggling to get a dairy free frosting that holds firm? And has anyone mentioned the animal products lurking in sprinkles, alcohol and fruit?!

This is a three hour introduction to vegan baking in which you'll learn how to:

​

 - bake and decorate a 6 inch vanilla cake

 - bake and decorate a dozen red velvet cupcakes

 - make three different types of frosting

 - make a cake jar

​

Everything used to make the cake is vegan and the class will address the specific challenges of dairy-free, egg-free vegan baking. Recipes and notes will be provided and you will also take home a cake, a cake jar and a box of 12 cupcakes that you've baked and decorated yourself. 

​

Please note that this is a busy, practical class that takes 3 hours and you will be on your feet for most of it. You will need to wear suitable shoes and be comfortable standing for this amount of time. 

​

Everything needed for the class will be provided. The cost of the class is £90 per person. Class size is 2 people. ​​
